Herbal teas are actually tisanes (not teas) since they do not come from the Camellia sinensis plant but are usually dried herbs, flowers, roots, stems, spices or a combination of all these ingredients. They are caffeine-free and were used many years ago for medicinal purposes, but now are enjoyed simply because they are tasty and refreshing. MarketSpice has developed several blends throughout our many years in business, but we still have the traditional basics such as peppermint leaves or chamomile.
